An IT professional can become certified with the CRISC standard by doing the following:
  • A person must complete the appropriate CRISC exam as prepared by ISACA.
  • The professional must also have at least three years of IT experience. This includes working along three or more CRISC domains.
  • There is also a need to agree upon a Code of Professional Ethics as prepared by ISACA to help ensure that the appropriate actions are handled in the IT field.
  • All applicants must also follow the Continuing Professional Education policy. This involves working with an appropriate amount of education over time to make sure that an IT professional is capable of handling the newest standards and procedures in the industry.
